Who reads this stuff anyway?

Well I have created this Blog to entertain myself.
Share with the world
and basically treat it like a jouranal where as I will talk nonsense about whatever comes to mind.

SO here go's.

I went on a road trip to San Fransisco last week..
Business is really bad out there. I cringed as I approached boutiques with racks of clothing and signs that read "50 - 70% Off"
I knew I was in trouble..
This is what I don't get... about 90% of the store owner's were not in their stores.

So I wasn't surprised that the majority of employees did not acknowledge me when I walked in, or, were either on the telephone or on the computer.

I speak for myself, when I say that no one works as hard as I do, and can accomplish what I can, and so I was disappointed not to be seeing more of the owner's in the stores..

I realize, kids just got out of school, and it is vacation time.
But C'mon... Follow Me on Pinterest

The Art of Luxury

New to the Lifestyle Clothiers family is a handcrafted luxury accessorry line from FyvebyDora.

Based in San Jose, California, this designer, Linda Bidrossian recalled a story of how her business began. Walking into the infamous Fred Segal store on Melrose, reknowned retailer, John Eshaya asked her about the handknit stole Linda was wearing and ordered 1/2 dozen for the store.

This is how Fyve byDora was launched. Today the line has expanded into luxury cashmere stoles, wraps, and baby blankets.

I have been a fan of MyShape.com since I discovered them online, and think that their concept is way overdue.

I was especially pleased when they came into the showroom and picked up a few of our products from Anu Naturals.

If you are not familiar with the website, please check them out at http://www.myshape.com/

I have posted a few pic's of the items they picked up..

Skirting the Issue - 1 tier at a time

Well I have always been a fan of the tiered skirt's. I think I still own a Bonnie Strauss (by now considered -vintage) because I could not bear to part with it. I am so glad I didn't. I still favor wearing them with beat up cowboy boots too.

Well I am predicting that come Spring 2009, they will be a staple in everyone's wardrobe.

Apparently, the fashion webzine "whowhatweardaily" concurs.

I am planning on having loads of them from our NY line, Dimri. Stay tuned.

Do the right Thing!!

Los Angeles June 17, 2008

I just picked up a new line called "Two Birds On Stone." It is a premium denim line for men and women. Clark Williams is the designer, and a veteran, with over 28 years of experience in the denim field, with Tommy Bahama among the companies he designed for.

When I met Clark, he expressed that he was at a place in his life, where he wanted to work with nice buyers, cultivate good working relationships with contractor's, and enjoy what he was working for and who he is working with.

Well, this caught my attention, because I feel the same way.

Clark's brother is a craniofacial plastic surgeon, who left his Texas based practice to work in third world countries, free of charge, performing surgeries on needy children.

How does he get the money? well 40% of the wholesale profits go towards his foundation, which you can find on my website. http://www.lifestyleclothiers.com/
